The National University of Kaohsiung (NUK) was proud to announce that Prof. Dr. Rudy Sofyan, Head of the International Affairs Office at Universitas Sumatera Utara, Indonesia, delivered a keynote presentation on "Sustainable Tourism: North Sumatra Experience" at the 2024 Asia Virtual Academy Conference. This prestigious event, themed "Green Future: Innovation and Industrial Transition," focused on driving innovative solutions to foster a sustainable global future.
The Asia Virtual Academy Conference, held on October 3, 2024, brought together thought leaders, academics, and industry professionals from across Asia to discuss the latest cultural, heritage preservation, and tourism developments. With sustainable tourism having become increasingly vital in global discussions, the conference made a significant impact on shaping the future of tourism in the Asia-Pacific region. Prof. Dr. Sofyan's contribution was invaluable in these discussions.
